Abstract

It has been seen in many countries of the world that gender discrimination is a big problem. Due to this many times people fight with each other. If we study it in simple words, then we will find that discrimination between men and women is called gender discrimination. There are many reasons for gender discrimination in India, such as the patriarchal mindset still exists in Indian society, due to which women are still seen as a responsibility. In the past, women were considered the honor of the family by many people, and it was also believed that women should not be allowed to leave the house because they are not able to defend themselves. Even though today our country has made social, economic, and political progress, due to social and family customs, women still get fewer opportunities for educational development and employment. After the implementation of the Indian Constitution, special attention was paid to the development of women. Through this research paper, an attempt has been made by the researcher to do an analytical study related to gender discrimination.
